A combination listening party and album deep-dive centered on Between the Lines Wednesday, August 26th at 7 PM at Caffè Lena. The event will be hosted by Chuck “Rochmon” Vosganian, who has been part of the Caffè Lena world for many years and has worked professionally in audio production for decades through his company, Empire AudioChuck is a huge music historian and enthusiast, and very much an “analog boy in a digital world,” as he likes to say.

Each month, Rochmon Record Club focuses on a classic or important album. Chuck guides the audience through the record with stories, photos, video clips, historical context, production details, and discussion about the songs, the artist, and the cultural moment surrounding the album. The audience listens together track by track while Chuck shares insights and conversation throughout the evening.

If you’ve ever wondered about Between the Line’s back stories, from the songs to the recordings and releasing of iconic singles like “At Seventeen”, this is an event for you! Janis will be there from start to finish, happy to answer questions from the audience about the recording also.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show begins at 7 PM with a live audio and video presentation by Chuck Vosganian, aka “Rochmon.” As always, Rochmon will have some surprises in store! These listening parties are designed to inform, engage, and help us hear familiar music in brand-new ways.

For Rochmaniacs at a distance, Rochmon Record Club will also stream live on Caffè Lena TV.
