Have I told you the story about the shoes I bought in Amsterdam??? Let me then tell you all.

Ok I am a redneck, you all know that, the shoes I wear have to be comfy, sneakers are the ones I usually feel to fit me best, nice and comfy, light and not tight, my feets want to feel free when wearing shoes. I also like that in my clothes, everything that is tight is not for me. I use XL but buy XXL just in case, of course I look a bit bagee, look like a rapper, but what the heck I feel comfy, thatīs the main thing.

My lady wants to sometimes be around me and because of how I dress she wants me to buy clothes that fit her image of a man to walk side by side with in public, so I let her rule every now and then.

Well, while in Amsterdam she thought that maybe I should buy my some new shoes, I didnīt think so cause I had been wearing the same shoes for like two years and they fit my feets completely. She pointed out that there where some holes in them and the bottom was kind geting thin. And she wouldnīt go with me to The Janis Concert unless......so I gave in.

We went into a shoe store and all them shoes looked "pointy" like at the end, you know like a the tip of a sharpened pencil. I didnt know how my toes where to fit into "that" so I was reluctent to try them, so we had a compromice, we looked at some shoes that looked like the sharpened end had been sawed off. I gave them a chance and tryed them on, I have big feets so number 47 it had to be, they fit, looked nice so we bought them.

Reluctently I said goodbye to my other shoes, I called them Jo and David, we had been together for such a long time and started using my new ones. I found to my surprice that the toes didnīt go all the way to the end and that was nice but I also noticed that I started to kick people....unintentionaly...in theyīre feet. The worst was when Kata called to me in the street of Amsterdam, it was on that "orange" day, lot of people around, I had to turn around to answer her call and like four people fell down on the ground right in front of me. I have never seen shoes do like this, they arenīt shoes, they are walking-skis. And another problem was that if I had to walk behind someone I was always kicking at his/hers heals, very embarracing.

I donīt like my new shoes but they seem to be the latest trend. I hate fashion, I am a bagee man.
