I'm going to miss her. I saw her in concert and met her a few times. She was always very kind to me. She was performing here recently and was the best she has ever been. Such an amazing and honest and beautiful lady. The planet will be a sadder place without her.

RIP

She was totally unique, both in looks and voice...I loved most everything she did, and that even includes 'Santa Baby'!
She will be missed, I'm sorry she's gone.

I was lucky enough to see her twice: once in concert here in CT and then in NYC on Broadway when she was in The Wild Party back in 2000.

Fantastic performer.

the world is truly less bright without Eartha's light!
What a wonderful unique voice she had and I agree she was the BEST Catwoman.

To Eartha's fans from her daughter

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. My mother was fortunate to have so many people who cared so much.

Unfortunately, her last weeks were often difficult and painful. But, she did get to come home and finish her life overlooking her fabulous view, surrounded by the many treasures of her amazing life.

I was with her continuously these last weeks and held her hand as she left this world. I have been truly blessed.

She did not want to be buried because she didn't want to take up space. She wanted no funeral or service. She wanted to leave this earth as she had arrived, with no fanfare. The life she lived is tribute itself.

I will miss her.
