One of my favorite Joan Baez albums has been given a re-release, Ring Them Bells.

It was originally one CD but is now two with lots of extra tracks.

It's fab.

I have no idea why they missed the tracks of the first CD.

Of course, Jesse, Joan's duet with Janis is there still and sounding better than ever. Brought me to tears last night. :)

It's been released over here in Germany as well yesterday but I haven't bought it yet ;)
What about the booklet of the re-released cd, Dylan? I hope it looks MUCH better than the old one which was VERY poor and disappointing. No lyrics, awful pictures...

I've still got £2 on my HMV card. I'll have to wait until Catherine gives it back to me. That's the change from the last Janis CD I bought which was Breaking Silence. She took it so she could give me my Christmas Present, which I'm still waiting for :( SHE'LL be old and grey before she remembers the finer points of what she's forgotten :eek:

The booklet is much better this time around. There are some new pictures, including one with Joan and Janis. also Joan gives her thoughts on each song and there is an essay about the concerts.

I have the older version. My kids and I just listened to it on the way to school one morning this week. I would write more, but my five year old is on my lap and keeps trying to find the ooooooo on the keyboard.....
