Well all just because the real thread went away with the board change I thought I would post this just to remind people that our favorite Pittsburgh Hosts are holding the Janic Picnic on August 12.... Lets not let this slide too far back onto the back burner...
Betty and I are up to a growing 16.25% probability of attending....
Lots of food music and friends.... See Redjack or Irishbeth for info....
Best to all

I was looking for a picnic thread a little while ago.
Set another place at the table! Mr. Karensews2 said he'll be coming with me! Redjack, you'll have to find out where there are some good pool rooms.

Hey Redjack, have you or Irish Beth found any group rates for a nearby motel/hotel? We're only about 4 months away now!!!

We're almost there folks. I have most of your e-mail addresses already, but just to CMA would everyone that is planning on attending (even you folks that are less than 50% sure) send your e-mail address to Beth and I , i'll be sending out the map/directions to the park and other information very soon.
You folks who offered to help in various ways, we're going to plan a little chat session to go over who does what. Anyone else interested in helping out a bit, let us know.

A little confidence :) Actually this time you'll have no excuse for getting lost as the picnic is happening about a mile from the hotel you stayed at recently :)
Still.. just to be sure we'll be issuing GPS devices to you and have you tracked at all times by satellite.

Hey Redjack, et. al.,
Tony and I are going to look into flights from Boston and see if we can get there that weekend. Sounds like a "do not miss" opportunity. I must confess, though, that although it would be great to see all those Rudies in one place, I'd actually come primarily to try Redjack's cooking.
So put down Tony and me for 50%...

Sorry Diver Boy, were attaching a string to your car and not letting you go anywhere but between the hotel and the park :p
No, I have not started looking for deals becuase I have no idea how many people want rooms. Lots of people are still up in the air or unsure about schedules. In mid-May I am planning on asking for a firm head count of those who need rooms. Then I will start calling to see if we can get any bargains.
Randy and Betty.........REALLY  You are thinking of joining us :)
I hope, I hope, I hope!!

Would be great to have you both! Hopefully my cooking will live up to the hype  Either way, its definately going to be a 'do not miss' weekend. So many rudies in one place... this might actually change the laws of the universe as we know it!

I'm confused... do you want us that are under 17.25% sure to send you our e-mail address even if you already have them? Really why not just e-mail me and ask ....
i'll be sending out the map/directions to the park and other information very soon.
Will my set of maps and directions be the same as everyone elses or will I end up in Hoboken like you did to Diverboy???
You folks who offered to help in various ways, we're going to plan a little chat session to go over who does what. Anyone else interested in helping out a bit, let us know.
In the unlikely event that Betty and I show up I'd like to volunteer to be the official "I'm here to give Redjack a hard time guy"... I think I am qualified for that job and feel certain that with just a bit of guidance from Irish Beth and Eva I could do a really knock out job...
